Casting Call: 2012 Film Feast
There's still time to participate in Film Feast 2012! Your participation is FREE and easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. Create a special prix fixe, three-course tasting menu. This can be a:
• Traditional prix fixe menu (for restaurants)
• Cocktail tasting flight (for bars)
• Beer or wine tasting experience (for wineries & breweries, etc.)
2. The Film Feast menu must be offered January 26 - February 5, 2012.
3. Complete the Participant Agreement form and return to Kim Mercado to be included in the media and marketing outreach.
For a delicious addition...if you're feeling inspired by the cinematic theme, model your Film Feast menu or a signature dish after a classic or contemporary film with a culinary tie (think: "Like Water for Chocolate," "Eat Pray Love" or even "Mystic Pizza"!). If you have TVs or projection capabilities, consider screening the film at your venue to set the mood!
Film Feast is a promotion executed in partnership with Santa Barbara Conference & Visitors Bureau and Film Commission and Santa Barbara Downtown Organization to encourage prospective and current visitors as well as locals to experience Santa Barbara's restaurants, bars and tasting rooms during the excitement of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
