Channel Islands Outfitters is a professional guide service and rental company. CIO pioneered adventure at the Channel Islands National Park 25 years ago and was the first company in Santa Barbara to offer kayak rentals at the beach and in the harbor. For the past 25 years, CIO has been the premier rental company and outfitter for all water-based adventures in Santa Barbara.

What sets us apart? CIO created the training manual for Sit-on-top kayak guiding and is in the forefront of SUP lessons and guiding at the Channel Islands. Our gear is top of the line and is always fresh, clean, and comfortable.

What is SUP? SUP stands for Stand Up Paddleboarding. From the beach it appears as though people are walking on water, but that is in fact SUP. Standing up on a long/wide surfboard is easier than you'd think and CIO has a wide variety of boards for all skill levels. Change your vantage point and try SUP!

Directions	101 South: Exit Castillo: Turn right and go to end of Castillo and turn right onto Shoreline Drive. Turn left at second light into SB Harbor. Parking continue across the bike bath by going straight towards the beach. 90 minute parking next to shop or once they have found the store, turn left at the bike path and get a ticket and park in the harbor lot. 101 North: Exit Garden: Turn left and go to end of Garden and turn right onto Cabrillo Blvd. Go through 4th light and turn left into SB Harbor. Parking continue across the bike bath by going straight towards the beach. 90 minute parking next to shop or once they have found the store, turn left at the bike path and get a ticket and park in the harbor lot. On Foot at State Street: Walk to where the boats are located in the marinas. Continue past the boat launch and follow the walkway to the complex where the restaurants are located. Kayaks are in the water in front of Brophys, we are located up the alley from the kayaks. Use code: WICKED FUN and get $10 off each boat rented.
