The Santa Barbara Car Free project encourages car free travel to and around Santa Barbara. For free maps, downloadable self-guided walking tours, and itineraries, check out www.santabarbaracarfree.org.Every year, the project sponsors a year-long discount package, including discounts on hotels, activities, and restaurants. Bonuses can include coupons for train and bus travel.
Santa Barbara Car Free is a cooperative project led by Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District for cleaner air. More than 90 partners - businesses, organizations, and individuals - participate in the project. See www.santabarbaracarfree.org for all the info!
