Chef Michael Tusk of San Francisco’s celebrated Cotogna and Quince restaurants will join us at El Encanto, bringing Northern Italian flavors and his signature dishes from Cotogna to our guests on The American Riviera®.

Tucked into San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, at the corner of Montgomery and Pacific Avenues, Cotogna is an Italian restaurant known for its housemade pastas, spit-roasted and grilled meats, and seafood prepared in the restaurant’s wood-burning oven. The menu evolves daily, guided by the rhythms of local farms—most notably Fresh Run Farm in Bolinas, which grows more than 40 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and flowers exclusively for Chef Michael Tusk and his wife, Lindsay. Appropriately, cotogna is the Italian word for “quince,” a nod to the restaurant’s warm, convivial spirit and its role as the more relaxed counterpart to their acclaimed fine-dining destination, Quince, located just next door.
