With its engaging score and involving story, Carmen is arguably the most popular of all operas. The drama takes place in 19th-century California amongst soldiers, smugglers, and settlers, where a fiery, seductive heroine takes center stage in a world of conflicting cultures.

Old Spanish Days 2014: El Desfile Historico (Parade)

The Fiesta Historical Parade is one of the largest equestrian parades in the United States. The parade starts at the west end of Cabrillo Boulevard, proceeds east along the beach, to State Street, then up State Street to Sola Street.
