Once you're on the ground in Santa Barbara, be sure stop by the Santa Barbara Visitors Center at 1 Garden Street, located in a traditional adobe building and decorated in quintessential Santa Barbara style. Our knowledgeable staff can answer any questions you might have, provide area maps and directions. They can also share pricing and hours of operation for all of Santa Barbara's attractions and activities, including the Santa Barbara Zoo, museums, bike rentals, whale watching, restaurants, wine tasting, guided tours and more. Amtrak train, MTD bus and Waterfront Shuttle schedules are also available for pick-up, free of charge.They can even give you a weather forecast.
The Visitors Center also provides rates for Santa Barbara hotels (availability updated daily), and our friendly representatives are happy to help visitors find a lodging property that fits your unique request. You can also book wine tours, city tours on the Santa Barbara Trolley and the Land Shark, as well as ocean cruises on the Sunset Kidd, all of which makes the Santa Barbara Visitors Center truly a one-stop-shop!
